Bungie, You said game not suppose to give you duplicate Exotics, I have gotten 17 same
Bungie, you said you fixed the game so you wouldnt get duplicate exotics from engrams. I have gotten 17, I even walked around tower, over 14 minutes, still getting exotics lower than I am in light, and duplicates.

They said they were going to work on the duplicate exotic issue. Which is why 3 of Coins and Fated Engrams are being added to Xur's inventory with the update on the 12th. 3oC will allow you to have a higher chance at more exotic engrams (possibly duplicates) and Fated Engrams are a guaranteed exotic that you don't have.... at a rather steep cost though. What I'm curious about is if I can buy more than one exotic engram per character per week.
