Edit: even supreme butthurt agrees
You guys know I'm not a nerf herder. Whatever happened with this gun, bungie did not play test it.
It's literally more broken that the vex mythoclass on its hayday.
I'm not a nerd herder, but you guys gotta see this, it's busted

Edit: I get it, I hate nerfs too, but this gun literally kills the guy in the blink of an eye while he barely got off two handcannon shots. No guns that weren't named vex mythoclass or thorn have ever killed that fast in the history of destiny

Do you still think it was an accident they shipped the Lens like it is? Even after Xur sold it? I know it's not definitive proof but you're not the least bit suspicious?

3 RepliesEdited by H_TOWN_BALLA_80: 12/8/2017 6:17:19 PMXur's selling it today. It gets nerfed next week. Just sit back and enjoy the ride with the rest of us this weekend man! I cannot wait to get home and play this weekend and that's the FIRST time I have had genuine excitement to play since release of D2 for a few hours before it set in what kind of game this was.

2 RepliesI hope Xur sells it tomorrow so I can watch the crucible burn both literally and figuratively
-
1 ReplyOk after doing some testing with the weapon, I figured out just what is going on here. What the problem has to do with is the Bodyshot multiplier. Where a critical is only doing 7-8 per shot, and does not change, the bodyshot damage is double that 15-16 for most of the damage to the body, which is why it melts so damn fast. Comparing it to Coldheart, Coldheart does 9 to both body and head, and ramps up to 10 when the perk for sustained fire kicks in. So there ya go.
-
1 Replyoh STFU and try to have some fun dammit. Stop whining for once, go see Xur and have some laser tag.

1 ReplyThere has been a disturbance in the force....

1 ReplyEdited by Twheeeeezy17: 12/7/2017 3:53:44 PMGood. I hope it is. I don’t have it but PL is the first gun I’ve felt excited to get in a very long time. Certainly the first in D2. If you whining pusssies get your way, it will be back to another nerfed down, boring destiny. The kicker is, the same whining pusssies will be back saying “crucible isn’t fun, you ruined it bungie”.

1 ReplyI'm pretty sure that the main problem with this weapon and type is that it really shows what latency is in this game. It's no secrete that when you go head to head with the same weapon type you will most likely trade kills due to lag but this gun in particular I've gotten tons of post humus kills with the Lens. I think that's why it seems to kill so quickly at times. We've started to see this less and less in D2 because of the times to kill being extended to better suite the severe latency we face in the crucible. We've all been "one" or "two" tapped by the last hope or Mida at some point or another. That's because of that slinky type effect that data travels. The Lens doesn't take a breath between shots so if that slinky is stretched at all, it all comes in at once and it seems pretty overwhelming. With "good" "stable" connections, it can easily be beaten with Antiope or Uriel's.

FINALLY! A deadly gun in destiny. I wish every gun worked that well.
-
Because so many solo queue players who once did well in D1 crucible can actually kill multiple people without assistance from their teammates. This is the problem the crucible has is that solo queue players are absolutely required to run with their teammates which was something you never had to do in D1. Now me personally I do pretty well going in solo but that’s because I know I have to run away more often than I can engage.

Bungie's trying really hard to lose their players

Whether you're Pro-Nerfs or Anti-Nerfs... Even though the weapon is bugged, it's probably fun to use in PvE. But because PvP kiddos, it's going to get nerfed into oblivion. Thus, yet again, PvE can't have anything even remotely resembling fun. PvP can choke on a bucket of dicks for all I care.
-
1 ReplyI get it though. When all the other weapons are pretty bland, a gun that breaks the oh so grey mould and feeds into the power fantasy that D1 had...? That makes it fun to use. They do have to fix it though, otherwise it'd be the only weapon ever seen in the crucible. It'd be nice if I could land one before the patch on Tuesday but RNGeesus hates me. :-/

I cant believe ppl are crying for nerfs, when these cries nerfed the whole sequel
-
1 Replywhat hand cannon was he using? Things should be interesting this weekend, since Xur is selling the Lens lol
-
Now we all can have one. Xur is selling it.

No guns that weren't named vex mythoclass or thorn have ever killed that fast in the history of destiny
The most fun guns in the game, ever or since.

Who here actually logs in to destiny 2 and says to themselves. You know I’m gonna play crucible because I enjoy it lol... I don’t know a single person to be honest, besides doing the milestone

51 RepliesMy god you people need to die! Ask for competitive content you narrow minded hartards! D1 was 3 years of asking for nerfs and buffs of day 1 reskinned content which saw the meta go full circle 3 times during the life of destiny 1's pvp. Think about this. R.O.I. dlc was the first and only time that bungie released content to compete with content. And....? IT WAS OBSOLETE BEFORE EVER BEING RELEASED. Y, u ask? Cause months prior to R.O.I, the d.o.t. burn effect from thorn and abilities had been nerfed to near uselessness. Not to mention the blanket handcannon nerf, that introduced bloom, and killed range and accuracy on all hc's til the final update of d1 reset initial accuracy back to vanilla values. Asking for nerfs non-stop, made it so that the one time they used content to combat content, it was absolutely irrelevant. Please, grow up, ask for content. Make destiny great again!

Anyone defending it in its current form is pretty ridiculous. If it killed as fast as last hope which is a close range only weapon would be one thing. (and even then lens range would still make the ttk off) But it doesn't. It kills faster then last hope. It kills in .4 secs. This isn't cod, you want a no skill whoever sees the other first game there's plenty of those on the market. High ttks have always been part of destiny so buffing everything else up to god mode doesn't work either. It's bugged and confirmed as bugged by bungie.
-
4 RepliesThe most broken thing that has been introduced to crucible ever. I played about 20 matches last night farming forge materials and the team that had more of them won 100% of the time. Personally, not mad - im just there for the materials not the competition but it is a mess. The salt in trials is going to be hilarious.
-
5 RepliesLmao. You guys crack me up
-
4 RepliesSure but wasn't the game more fun when everything was broken buff everything leave it broken
-
Its fun when I use it, lame when anyone else does. ;)
-
Yeah, this game sucks.

1 ReplyI’d take the original Mythoclast honestly. It was more stable and had better range. That’s not the original butthurt.
