Eh not going to be popular but the issue is that Comcast and Time Warner (any monopolies im forgetting?) need to be broken up. TV and internet are now competing technologies. Im actually fine with a few smaller internet companies that package tiered internet....i wouldnt want it, but there are a lot of people who just check email and look at facebook that pay the same for internet as i do, and i munch up about 750 gigs a month...hows that fair to the light use individual? Also if my business depended on internet uploads, i might be interested in paying extra for speed to youtube for instance. Sadly the media and special interests have bastardized what this is really about....way too much special interest money going into this fight. Bottom line does the government have the right to tell private companies what to do with their infrastructure? Id rather the government just bust up the monopolies we all hate.... Sorry for not jumping onto the media and special interest group bandwagon. ...though im fine with it either way tbh, its not going to affect people like the media is making it out to be.
