State of D2 post Feedback and one missing subject!
Firstly thanks to Bungie & it's community managers for taking the time to read and take note of the community's thoughts and feelings on the current state of D2! The state of D2 post was great - I really have no complaints about what was said and I'm very excited to see these planned systems be put into place over the course of the next couple months. However there was one topic missing and greatly needed in the post - Shaders!
I feel like it's widely agreed amongst the community (From what I gathered from Reddit, Clan members etc) that D2's shader system restricts creativity - And this is crucial! Please consider working on these specific issues we have with D2's shader system:
- The glimmer cost for using shaders
- The lack of a properly dedicated character screen that lets us see each and every armour piece on one screen, something that'd be incredibly useful for micro-managing and experimenting with shaders all in one place, rather than having to swap back and forth between screens. Example: https://imgur.com/a/2GXm6
- The lack of a variety of shaders - Most of the ones we currently have access to are too grayed out, too basic, everyone seemingly looks the same and nobody stands out apart from the few elite. The excitement of obtaining new shaders is lacking
Thank you!
