Join the Battle for Net Neutrality! Net neutrality will die in a month and will affect Xbox one, ps4, pc and many other websites and devices, unless we fight for it!
Call your senators and representatives and let them know you support net neutrality and that they need vote against the FCC chairman!
https://www.battleforthenet.com
Net neutrality is not against free speech.
Edit: the linked picture is what internet plans will start looking like after they gut net neutrality.
Don’t only take my word for this!
Educate yourself, understand what the FCC is trying to do to our internet while being paid by these ISPs to control it.
If you aren’t comfortable calling in, you can always text “RESIST” to 504-09 and the resist bot will ask for basic information to locate your local representatives and help you put together a letter that will automatically be faxed to them!

Then you have people here leaving jokes like it's no big deal. You guys want our internet to end up like China where everything is restricted and you you to pay more and more for basic access? Sit here and tell jokes. Net Neutrality is the biggest issue right now. Call your congressmen. Do all you can, call, email, anything. Besides leave jokes.

Dude, senators and reps aren't going to do squat. You've got five people voting on it. Sadly this is going to happen.
-
What's the reasoning for taking it away?
-
your cries to your senators will accomplish nothing. that bell end running the FCC has already decided. welcome to your bronze, sliver, or gold package internet deal now with gaming lanes for no extra charge. you can get access to amazon and other shopping websites for 50 bucks more! limited time bundle twitter and facebook together only 10.99.99 each

I can’t believe people would stoop so low to try and take away internet freedom. Fight the good fight. My post isn’t as detailed as yours, but we all gotta do our part in spreading the message.

The FCC isn't trying to do anything with the internet; in fact, the opposite. Repealing NN removes the regulations that prohibit the free market from doing its thing.

Guys, if we lose, we riot.

I think that this is, by far, the most upvotes I have EVER seen on an off topic post
Lawyer here. These are always so misleading and largely incorrect. I don't believe most of these and neither should you. The way these dumb myths become popular is by imagining hypothetical situations that could break the law. Take the Swiss one, for example. The law says nothing about your car door. You just cannot make overly loud and disruptive noise during the night (as is the case in pretty much every country with laws on public peace and order), so that becomes "it's illegal to slam your car door". Same goes for the Greek one. No one can have their license withdrawn for being poorly dressed or unbathed. This applies only to taxi drivers who can have their taxi license revoked if they don't meet general requirements of professionalism (as is the case for hundreds of jobs in many countries). The Paraguay dueling one? Not a shred of truth to it. The Reykjavic dog one? Not at all illegal, your dog just needs to be registered to a person and an address. Another example would be a supposed law that says it's illegal to tie a bison to a fire hydrant in Montana. This might be technically correct, but that's only because the law says that you cannot obstruct access to a fire hydrant in any way, which obviously includes the bison thing too but doesn't mention it specifically and is actually illegal in the entire country. It's like saying "wow, did you know that it's a law in the USA that you cannot put on clown make-up and juggle butt naked on a unicycle within 20 feet of a traffic light??". Well, duh, but that's because just being naked in public can be considered public indecency. None of the other stuff matters and it's not actually part of the law. Common sense and basic fact checking, people.
Can someone please explain what net neutrality is? I am interested in what this topic is talking about.

<Save them [the FCC in this case] from me, you won't know the kind of power I'll find if you start blocking things.>

NO ONE CAN CONTROL THE INTERNET. IT FLOWS THROUGH EVERYTHING!
-
This is their plan they want to tear the world apart they want the apocalypse to finally come The internet purge apocalypse... I can see it now Buildings burning people dying mass destruction constant fighting between the government and citizens... it will be war if they win And I will go out fighting for the right side I will go out defending my rights as an American citizen and I will protect the internet even at the cost of my own life. FCC come at me if you’ve got the B@LL5 and see exactly what happens when you try to take away a mans property you’ll get shot dead in your tracks I swear on it
