Lore Glossary/Encyclopedia in-game? (Grimoire did this in D1 I think?)

As someone who never played Destiny 1 due to lack of a console, and who is playing D2 for the first time on PC, I would LOVE if there was an in-game resource to read about the lore of the various characters, factions, and past events that built the foundations of where Destiny 2 is now. I love how Exotics and Subclasses have their own lore you can access in-game, but I want more lore/backstory about various characters (Living, dead, or simply MIA), as well as objects, technology, and past events that were significant to the universe of Destiny, especially if you could add some kind of in-game resource to read a synopsis of the various events of Destiny 1 and its DLCs, as well as lore regarding the discovery of the Traveler and the Golden Age era.

  • Make a library at the tower and have Mynameisbyf and Myelingames do voices for some NPCs that run the place. Make sections of different lore so you can, for example, delve more into Fallen lore or Hive lore, respectively.

  • My personal choice for Grimoire: http://www.ishtar-collective.net I recommend using either the Timeline tab to get a synopsis of various events, or Categories if there's a particular subject you want to delve into. All referenced with grimoire cards, bounty/item descriptions and the like. Wish it was all available both in game and on the Bungie app though.

  • It used to be available on the web site. At D2 launch it was deleted, not just removed but deleted. There might be a couple of web sites that have some of the lore if you google Destiny Grimoire. But Bungie deleted it probably so they can rewrite the history for some reason or other...

We had a grimoire in d1, at least on the app. Bungee deleted it all when d2 launched. So if you ever play d1 and wonder why your getting all these grimoire cards that you can’t read, thank bungle for deleting the whole section from the app.
