An idea for a titan exotic

After talking with a few titan users it is evident that the barricade takes a good second to appear. While I do think that it shouldn’t be changed perhaps having an exotic gear in which the barricade instantly pops up. Maybe with decreased wall cool down if that isn’t op enough. What do you think?

  • I think they need something like a Fallout power fist, instead of the sword. Swords are too elegant for a titan.

  • What about an exotic that made the titan's shoulder charge increase damage the longer you sprinted, but took longer to recharge the more damage you dealt.

    • Has anyone ever killed a Titan before the barricade went up? I never have. I cant really imagine this being such a big issue. Its not like Nova Bomb where if you dont catch someone off-guard they can wipe you out AND cause you to lose your super. I just think the gains from an exotic such as this wouldnt be significant. Then again, i dont run Titan so i wouldnt really know.

      • Have you been playing the game against the Cabal and thought it would be cool if You had the dual cleavers the Cabal Gladiators have, the Dreggs sidearm dagger combo, vandal spear, phalanx shield, Hive Knight Sword, etc, etc, etc... I think we should have those weapons and able to obtain them through patrols, quest, strikes, public events, and raids. Just a few ideas that could be great additions to our arsenal. [b][u]Cabal Gear[/u][/b] [b]The Severi[/b] Cabal Severi are paired cleavers employed byGladiators, the elite warriors of the Red Legion. I think it would be cool when in use the gaurdians would have the same or similar animations as the Cabal do when swinging it. Power weapon Damage: Solar Perks: Cabal kills restores ammo Increased movement speed [b]Energy Shield[/b] The Energy Shield is used by Red LegionPhalanxes to shield themselves and their fellow comrades from enemy gunfire. Power weapon Damage: kenitic Perks: Able to equip Sky burners oath Hip fire with Sky burners oath is faster [b]Wrist Sword[/b] The Cabal gain the ability to deploy swords from their free wrists to make melee attacks. These swords may also be fired at the player, exploding like a fragmentation grenade on hitting the ground. Exotic Titan Gaunlets Perks: wrist sword / sword fragmentation wrist sword is charged faster with regular melee kills. Sword fragmentation is charged faster will grenade kills.         • TL:DR below Don’t know about you guys, but I love thinking of ideas for new exotics. A lot of the exotic ideas I see though tend to sound overpowered as people want them to be cool. However, I think it’s pretty easy to come up with fun ideas for exotics that remain balanced within the way the game plays. I wish Bungie could get a little more creative sometimes and give us a lot more exotics than we’re used to. Anyway here’s my idea for an exotic Shotgun. TL:DR Exotic Void Shotgun. Exotic perk 1: Hold down the trigger to release a bolt of void energy. (This would consume 3 bullets of the mag to shoot a charged shot with scout rifle range, headshot will do lethal damage) Exotic perk 2: Getting a kill with this weapon will automatically load a bullet from reserves to your magazine. Regular perks could have: -Snapshot -Increased reload speed Magazine holds 6, while reserves hold 12. (Power ammo in pvp would give 6) Basically you can either use it at close range like a Shotgun does best, or if you want to sacrifice the ammo you can hit a hard hitting long range shot. What do you guys think I should name this?

            • An instant barricade exotic would be a good exotic and it’s still pretty fair. I would like to see a exotic that helps with the titan bubble perhaps something that increases its strength or able to ricochet rounds back at enemies.

                    Hmmm would be good. Would also give titans an additional advantage in PvP, therefore upsetting the all important, precious [b]balllllaaancccce[/b], so won't happen.

                    • My idea for an exotic is you can move the barricade. Barricade moves with the Titan, Titan moves at a slower speed. OR If it wasn’t for stupid pvp you could also make one where you can shoot through the barricade for decreased damage.

                      • Panic slam is enough. A panic shield that comes up frequently would make titans way too hard to kill at a distance. I think we can all relate to the team shot problem. This might be a good idea once that's fixed. That's a pretty big maybe.
