No I think 90% of us agree. There is no reason to play the end game content.
You can do an entire prestige run and get nothing but tokens.... those tokens when turned in don't even turn into prestige armor but normal loot.
You can get normal raid loot without stepping foot in the raid.
I hear challenge mode is a guranteed armor drop but why have a prestige mode then? Shouldn't challenge mode just be prestige? Seems like a lot of empty filler.
(Where are the prestige weapons)
Trials you don't have to go flawless or even win a game to get all of the trials armor and weapons so what is the point in going flawless?
Again you can get trials loot without ever stepping foot into trials.
Now accompany that with the relative difficulty of end game content being watered down and it actually being faster to hit max light by just doing public events and light level as a whole being useless..... you kind of just have to take a step back and think.......... who thought any of this was a good idea?

You can probably succeed more and quicker by running public events anyway. More fun than finding teams and grinding the new prestige raid. I completely agree about the new token system also. Even when dismantling iron banner gear you didn't get any return tokens and duplicates were incredibly common. End game sadly doesn't match the rewards. I made a post about the prestige nightfall and even the light level means nothing. Just a shorter timer and 99% identical rewards.

Doesnt take long to get everything. I have a stock pile of tokens with no reason to use them. If their were random rolls the yes I would have a reason..... but sadly day 1 of the next dlc ill have everything because of the stupid amount of tokens I have. There is no reason to grind or play the prestige raid. Zero weapons and a small chance to get prestige armor which is re skinned normal armor. Challenge mode will give you a guranteed prestige armor drop so may as well wait instead of spending hours doing something that gives you tokens for normal loot when you can just do normal in 45 minutes. A nightfall is a nightfall there never has been special loot for a nightfall its just a way to level up. You get an extra drop with prestige that's it.

Maybe I can agree on the iron banner tokens. I don't feel it's fair but ok - The prestige raid tokens? The raid sucks anyway and I hate the new mechanics. Armour that doesn't do anything specific for the raid, no prestige mode weapons? Tokens that drop at NORMAL level? Not even cashed in at 2:1 ratio? Normal raid tokens for a prestige completion??
