And tonight destiny tracker has 881k uniques in crucible. by this "leap" destiny is rebounding and on track to be the most popular game ever played if the trend continues. )see how silly this all sounds?)
Btw let crucible die and you still have 1.9 million unique people playing pve today. 2 million doesn't sound "dead" to me.

It is far from reaching moba, like league of legends which had 7.5 million concurrent players. And yes there are many people in moba communities which tell that games are dead while 1million players playing at any given moment each day... LUL. 1 million people is QUITE FAR FROM DEAD. I think there are lots of D1 veterans that hate D2, but i am totally new player to D2, i have not figured out yet this game fully, but i really enjoy it, though playing PVE at the moment, tried PvP but i guess i need higher level, since i die from two shots while enemies die from 100 shots.

PVP balance in a game that PVP is unpopular in. Hmmm maybe Bungie should of let us have our OP weapons and abilities? Maybe a lot of these changes are backfiring. Plus the company wants to be expand its playerbase not see it drastically fall off, especially in a live game where content is released in timed waves.

To be fair it's a weekend with no trials...so you lost a good chunk of PVP right there. Many of whom probably went and did the raid instead.
