This game is 0 like vanilla Destiny.
Remeber those dmg/armor upgrade perks on all gear that actually mattered?
Remember farming materials on patrol and exploring the world doing so?
The VoG was extremely awesome compared to the leviathan.
There was so much gear to farm ...
I remember looking at the PvP vendor gear and craving to get enough marks and rank 3 to buy it.
Daily bounties and the hype when the first people got exotic quests from them. I grinded those bounties daily, got the bad juju quests and did 25 strikes back to back to get the exotic weapon - my first exotic after days and days of playing.
Now with D2 you get everything day 1, nothing really matters, there are about 50 different weapons, that are not all really that different.
PvP is so easy that it gets boring after 1 match
Vendors do not sell anything
Patrols are completetly useless
Exotics are handed over to you
Ingame store with 20€ purchases

I remember vendors having actually 2 different guns of the same type (2 scout rifles, 2 auto rifles, etc). Add in the variety of perks they could come with and you had a LOT of potential loot. Something definitely missing at this point in D2.

Leveling your gear and farming planets for meterial was arguably more fun than anything in Destiny 2, and that says it all frankly.
