In case you didn't know, Worlds First cheated
There's another clip floating around of him doing the same glitch at the dogs so it's safe to assume that they did it throughout the whole raid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Coil glitching is when you switch to the Wardclif Coil, pick up one block of heavy, switch to a different heavy and you'll have max ammo for the one you just equipped.
Cozmo's Official Response: "We have seen the reports that an ammo exploit was used today in the Prestige Raid. This was not the specific exploit we were checking for and we don’t currently have the ability to detect it. Tomorrow we will release the top 3 finishers in the TWAB. You can make your own decision as to who should be celebrated."

I don’t play raids and I don’t use glitches, but I never see these things as problems. If something is possible in a game, I never see it as cheating. I see it as problem-solving and a valid way to finish a game. Cheating to me would include using some outside means that is not available in the game itself (like manipulating a Network or having artificial intelligence play the game for you).

Obviously Bungie doesn’t care about the ammo glitch because it helps people in PvE. It’s not game breaking. People who use it are using the game to its full potential. People are just mad because their favorite streamer didn’t get it. Don’t be a sheep

The worst thing is that know about that and don't give a -blam!-. But welp, that is "destiny in a nutshell" They protect cheaters, they fix glitches that not all people know most of the time but they don't fix issues that are more important. If they let pass those people doing a "glitch" to complete the raid, then what's the point fixing other glitches? Maybe is because they are using this glitch too, because when something is good for the community and not for them THEN is time to fix it.

And they wonder why nobody takes them seriously anymore. Oh, and they don't need to detect the exploit when everyone already knows about it, they need to fix it. I'm not quite sure the word "fix" means the same to us as it does to them, though.

Hahahahaha seeing this makes me -blam!-ing die laughing. -blam!- guess i cheated all of my raids, and pve content in destiny 1, and a couple of months in d1 pvp trials then too. Unless you have a little cheat sheet, did you know that alot of the finishers in the raid also used the same "glitch" / swapping weapons.

4 RepliesDon't care. I can't tell you the name of anyone who has been "worlds first" in the last 4 raids. It doesn't really mean much. Most people can't be online the second the raid goes live so it's not like there is that much competition. Never understood why they always do these on weekdays. If they want a true competition for worlds first they should release it on a friday night.

lol. if they didn’t want it used they should have tested the game further before launch and patched it. not to mention the glitch takes several seconds to do so the gain in dps is probably not that significant. get over it.
