In case you didn't know, Worlds First cheated
There's another clip floating around of him doing the same glitch at the dogs so it's safe to assume that they did it throughout the whole raid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Coil glitching is when you switch to the Wardclif Coil, pick up one block of heavy, switch to a different heavy and you'll have max ammo for the one you just equipped.
Cozmo's Official Response: "We have seen the reports that an ammo exploit was used today in the Prestige Raid. This was not the specific exploit we were checking for and we don’t currently have the ability to detect it. Tomorrow we will release the top 3 finishers in the TWAB. You can make your own decision as to who should be celebrated."

Bungie as well as this game is a huge joke and garbage. D1 at launch was way better than D2 a month+ in.

Considering pretty much everyone did the Icebreaker heavy ammo glitch in Crota's End during the Heavy Ammo drought - I'm okay with this. There was also a similar glitch with Sleeper Simulant people used to use. This to me is on par with getting full ammo with "it stared back" and then change the perk to do more damage @ the cost of less ammo while not losing current ammo. It's not like they did a glitch to despawn adds or freeze the boss.

Read the response, folks. They admit that they don't have the ability to detect the ammo glitch exploit, they don't condone or embrace the exploit. How can they be sure #2 through #250 weren't doing so as well? Quit overreacting just because Bungie said something tou don't understand.

I think it does invalidate the team's victory, but at the end of the day, it's not a big deal. It's not like the world's first team won anything (except tokens and I suppose "friendship").

How is it cheating when everyone can do it? They are speedrunners and all speed runners use exploits if they are available. Go look up the vids for a WR speed run time on any raids there are exploits that anyone can use.

Not a surprise. About the exploit or Bungie. I am more surprised about how lame the rewardless "prestige" mode is. Seems like a huge waste of time for weapons with a different base color, shaders, an ornament for a shotgun and an emblem.

Honestly who cares. I don't understand why it's so important for people to be world first especially in this game. You get nothing from it. Bragging rights? No. I beat it a few minutes before you did. Big whoop. Seriously world first is a joke.

I don’t play raids and I don’t use glitches, but I never see these things as problems. If something is possible in a game, I never see it as cheating. I see it as problem-solving and a valid way to finish a game. Cheating to me would include using some outside means that is not available in the game itself (like manipulating a Network or having artificial intelligence play the game for you).
