There's another clip floating around of him doing the same glitch at the dogs so it's safe to assume that they did it throughout the whole raid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Coil glitching is when you switch to the Wardclif Coil, pick up one block of heavy, switch to a different heavy and you'll have max ammo for the one you just equipped.
Cozmo's Official Response: "We have seen the reports that an ammo exploit was used today in the Prestige Raid. This was not the specific exploit we were checking for and we don’t currently have the ability to detect it. Tomorrow we will release the top 3 finishers in the TWAB. You can make your own decision as to who should be celebrated."

Makes you wonder if the "no big deal" guys are themselves bitc@@s, I mean glitchers
-
I would consider that more of an exploit than cheating, but that’s just me.
-
Unless you were the second or third team to complete it than who cares.
-
What is more telling is the fact that they had to use a glitch to beat it. This raid has no appeal to me so I haven’t done it. Slayerage (world first nm) did prestige then immediately turned the game off and went to play fortnite citing he could not get people to play D2 with! The sheer number of “Bungie what have you done? “ videos and the lack of T1 streamers playing D2 should be ringing alarm bells but Cosmo and Deej seem to think a simple “we’re listening “ or “friendgame” comment will suffice. I’m very sad about it.
-
Who gives a crap if they used a glitch to beat a boring useless raid? They didn’t knock the boss off the side or anything so what’s the problem. They beat it first. If anything they should be applauded for even playing the boring raid. God I miss destiny 1.
-
That's all player's do these days is cheat. Sad
-
Oh guess we should take away there cookies

Ammo is hard enough to come by in the raid... anyone who has done the raid will know this. The Coil heavy ammo exploit has been known for a long time... yet bungie let the prestige raid go ahead without patching it. Its clearly giving their team an advantage over the other teams, Cozmos response was basically "we know about the exploit, you make up your own mind on who did it first" This only highlights how much of a mess the game is in, its like the final piece of the puzzle... The prestige raid is meant to be Bungies biggest achievement int he game so far, its the hardest thing in the game to complete and everyone was making a big deal about being the "world first" to complete it. I couldnt help but feel that comzos tweet was filled with disappointment and i could only picture him sitting there writing it thinking "how the -blam!- did we let this happen".
-
Seems like this is another issue entirely.
-
My decision is made....don't trust streamers
-
bungie has known about this glitch and should've said that it would DQ worlds first.
-
That's not really cheating imo. No adds glitch is cheating
-
If you're not cheating, you're not trying.
-
Lmao, D2 is a -blam!-ing shitshow 3/10 game GG Bungie
-
How close was second place? If they weren’t very close, chances are, redeem would have still won.
-
Not game breaking whatsoever first it first as long as they beat each encounter.
-
Not sure how that's cheating...
-
Who cares? If this bothers you get a life.
-
People actually care about this.
sad
-
Cozmo response edited: Meh, we don’t care. You decide
-
Did anyone care about people doing the heavy ammo glitch back at crota? Then why should we care about the coil glitch.
-
Who cares who was first. It's a video game. How about caring that the game sucks.

Edited by MARS (Adept): 10/19/2017 7:14:25 PMSounds similar to the “Clown Cartridge” heavy exploit in D1. Try it in PVP and see if it works. That’ll shutdown trials like they did in D1
-
That glitch isn't really that big of a deal.
Haters Gonna Hate
-
To be precise: It‘s not cheating, it‘s exploiting...there’s a difference. Cheating is a bannable offense, exploiting isn’t as long as the developer stays quiet about it. Only if they say it’s a bannable offense to exploit the bug, then it’s considered as cheating. Example: Backing out of Trials Matchmaking in Y2. Does it matter that they exploited to get World’s First instead of cheating? No. Both are shitty moves and both should be a reason to say „F*ck you, you‘re not World‘s First!“. It‘s not legit at all.

Who gives a crap? Is the emblem that cool?
