The fear that somehow, some way, a duck is watching you.
Now how does one achieve such levels of terror? Truly in the human experience there are things that we fear. Death, the endless black void of space, snakes, all your loved ones dying. But one fear transcends all and becomes synonymous with horror. Imagine for a moment you are sitting on a park bench. The soft wind blows past you and the grass is green. I doubt anyone is actually reading this. You breathe in and feel the cold oxygen travel to your lungs. But you know something's not right. You KNOW that somewhere a duck is watching through beady uncaring eyes. Why does it haunt you? What could you have done to deserve this?
The horrific truth OffTopic is that you did nothing to deserve it. Such is the chaotic state of the universe. Maybe ducks represent our irrational fear of the unknown? Maybe they're like clowns?
I shudder at the thought.
Stay safe out there lads. Remember although it may feel like it there is not duck watching you I promise.
actually there is look behind you
