Upvote to remove supremacy from the damn PvP.
Just leaving this here.
Edit: Overall trending 200 upvotes. Census says supremacy needs to be removed.
It's literally the only mode that promotes team shooting compared to clash and control.
There are those that believe why everyone hates it is because of camping when it reality it's because if there's a little bit of lag no one can pick up a crest and for this game mode the teams are to small for supremacy. Also the only way to play this game mode for a single player is to have a weapon that can kill quick an easy up close because you can't relia on you team mates if your playing as single player.
Edit 2: when I updated the first time overall in the cruicble tag it was 200 and trending. Now it's 500 and still trending.
So still census says remove supremacy.
There are many people who don't like the mode especially for quiclplay.
Edit 3: well I haven't seen this post in awhile so of anyone can tell me where it's at on upvotes. But still we had a nice dry spell of supremacy not being on the rotation which made for a better experience but then the update hit and now it's back. So let get this going again and get this shit mode removed.

I'm sick of control. Because of Iron Banner and now it feels that's all I ever play in Quickplay. Never liked it anyway.

I love supremacy however. They just need to give players more choice in what to play. I also would have to agree with what was already mentioned anyways by Willakkuma below, "200 upvotes in a marginalized thread on a biased site doesn't qualify anything but an approximate .000005487% approval rating among 100,000,000's of players."

so i asked my imaginary cat and he thinks that all shooting and jumping mechanics need to be removed from crucible. You can just punch people.

Supremacy is alright as long as everyone knows what to do. My issue with this is running it with strangers who don't even bother to pick up the crests. I love crucible and want to be able to pick what mode I play in. They can keep the quickplay playlist but should add all the other modes. Maybe even one with 6vs6?.. that was fun because it was always mayhem, lol. Like many, I've also revisited D1 just for crucible.

I actually like supremacy as a 4v4 option. Rarely do you have to worry about that kid that camps across the map with a sniper.

I get supremacy 7 out of 10 matches. I like supremacy but with this meta amd everyone playing like its clash supremacy is just boring. I have taken part in some games that end 13-9....15-10 ect ect. I have yet to take part in a supremacy game that reaches score.

Mode is the worst, but just like Iron banner showed us, the maps are terribly unbalanced for 4v4; the spawns are awful, C is further away from B than A, and huddling in a group of 3 to 4 is the only effective measure.

6 RepliesI love this mode. I say just get better. I have been lucky enough to not have lag issues, so I have no problems picking up crests. And 200 up votes is nothing compared to the people playing it right now instead of complaining here, because they are having fun. Hopefully your luck changes and you find a way to make it fun.

I also hate the way control is i this game. I just hate objective base matches.. just doesnt feel right with this particular game.. titan fall i love playing the objective. u have bots and players on the map.it just feels right.

Of all the very many issues wrong with Destiny 2 I hardly think supremacy is one of them. All PvP modes promote team shooting not just this one and I'm yet to encounter anything that proves otherwise. Sadly that is just the way this game is built, those who stay close and coordinate each kill will win every time regardless of mode.

1 ReplyHaha. 200 upvotes is not a consensus for anything. 'Fire Luke Smith' is in the 1000's. Why do people hate supremacy so much? It's straightforward and requires people to engage at reasonably close quarters, so it's more action-packed than picking a sniping Lane and holding it down with Mida. Honestly, I didn't like control very much prior to Iron Banner, but after it I may consider bailing next time I get it in rotation. People just don't get it. They don't get that you need to hold down two zones to win. They don't get that on Vostok B is a bad choice and you can pretty much control A and C from the rock arch area between the two zones. They don't understand that it's a bad idea to capture C if the enemy flips spawns after you were holding A. People. Just. Don't. Get. It. Supremacy is far more engaging.
