I have completed my Hunter's amour set, although the feeling of accomplishment is not there. I have mixed feelings about the return of Iron Banner for Destiny 2. I humbly accepted being smashed by better stacked enemy teams and also enjoyed smashing enemy teams. I played for at least 3-4 hours each day throughout the past week (You could label me as a filthy casual, if you like). Across all three characters, I have completed the daily missions. And alas, the gaming gods have blessed my RNG. A full armour set for my Hunter. Before I received the final missing piece (which was the awesome Helmet), it took me 32 packages. That's about 600 tokens. I am just happy that I could move on and do different things on the game. I enjoyed playing Iron Banner, but now I feel pretty burned out about playing to get at least some armour pieces for my alternate characters. The grind was present but after receiving that last amour piece, I sighed with relief instead of jumping for joy. It was a brutal process and I could not fully enjoy the event even if I do like Iron Banner. It's a missed opportunity. Were there problems with the event? [i]YES. Absolutely.[/i] Could there have been implementations from Rise of Iron (Lore, Iron Medallions, a dedicated adventure for the Iron Lords)? [i]YES. WHY ARE THERE NO LORE TABS FOR THE GEAR? THESE ROOKIES DON'T KNOW WHAT [b]FELWINTER'S LIE[/b] IS[/i] Is the token system specifically for Iron Banner broken? [i]Yes and No. Yes in terms of more gear from faction rewards and post game engrams, sometimes dropping at 300 Light. No in terms of the number of tokens given after every match. [/i] (Losing a match is devastating for players because they only receive 2 tokens. This should be improved on.) TL;DR - I'm bragging about my loot, but I don't feel rewarded at all. There are visible problems with Iron Banner. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed the event. 6.5 out of 10.
