Can you PLEASE fix Shadowshot (also Nova Bomb because similar issue)

During the shooting animation, the game switches from first person to third person, which in turn shifts the camera to over the player's right shoulder as opposed to their center. This in turn rapidly repositions the crosshair and thus changes where the player is actually aiming, and since the arrow has a MASSIVE hitbox (you fire it at an enemy), only for it to immediately "hit" something just above you), firing it at an enemy rarely works in tight spots EVEN IF YOU HAVE DIRECT LINE OF SIGHT WITH THE ENEMY WHEN YOU ACTIVATE IT! If you're aiming through a window at an enemy then activate the ability, your crosshair will rapidly switch from the enemy to the wall next to the window. Due to the change in angle (camera facing down and to the left as opposed to straight on), you will be completely unable to rectify this before the arrow fires, resulting in a completely wasted shadowshot. This is even worse with the nova bomb as not only will your super be wasted, it can potentially kill you. Just change it so that: 1) We can't change the direction our arrow is aimed in once the animation starts. 2) The direction the arrow will travel in once fired is calculated BEFORE the animation starts (i.e. when still in first person). This way, we can just line up our crosshair with our enemy and use it. The animation will then play and the arrow will travel where it's actually supposed to go, and the sudden switch to third person will stop messing up our aim.

  • This was a huge problem in D1 as well. It's far worse in D2. You hang in the air without direct control of your character for too long. Most of the time you die before you get the arrow off or immediately afterwards because you get shot down too fast without any way to control your character. I'd rather have it just be a quick shot without change in perspective. Since it's meant to cancel enemy supers it should be something you can use in a panic situation. Instead you have to shoot it and use it as a trap before an engagement.
