Yeah, I saw Datto's video on the current state of Destiny 2's End Game and as soon as he said that Bungie had removed most of the RPG mechanics from Destiny 2 and that they were concentrating more on their FPS strengths, I immediately knew he was right. Funny how it hadn't clicked with me until someone else said it.
None the less, I agree with the general sentiment. Despite having played all the Halo's and a few Call of Duty's, I'm not really a FPS fan, RPG's have always been my thing. Destiny's RPG elements are what drew me to the franchise in the first place. Without its RPG elements, there really isn't much here in Destiny 2 to keep players like me coming back.

Yep, I think Datto nailed it on his video about Destiny's end game. Unless Bungie turns it around over the next two dlc I am out. There are plenty of shooters out there, I enjoyed destiny for the loot hunting and sometimes the challenge that brought. Everything is so easy to get now, it really isn't nearly as fun as D1. Spending most of my time in the crucible already.

Same here. The RPG drew me in. Now that it's gone, I just don't care for the game. Nothing to do.
