I'm gonna have faith in xur this week and buy riskrunner. That being said, if it so happens that i buy it and then farm for an exotic engram or two and get riskrunner again, I'm going to hypothetically break my disc into a million tiny pieces. (I don't feel like spending another $60)

with my luck it's more likely that I'll get another dupe. On top of that i work full time so 2 days of farming is more like a couple of hours in the long run. But who knows? RNG is horrible in this game more often than not. I've almost hit 300 without even doing the raid.

Putting complete trust in someone or something with no reason or evidence to support said action is never a good thing. Especially if your faith failed you in the past. You must be a glutton for punishment then. Having reasonable expectations based on statistical probability is a better route to take in my opinion. Good luck though. ;)

Lol. we can only hope at this point. All I have to say about that is it isn't the first time it's happened and it sure as heck won't be the last. So it's almost to the point where I expect to be disappointed in the drop from the time i loot it to when i finally decrypt.

true enough. But I hardly use my other 2 characters so it's more of a convenience type thing for me to just buy it and call it good. I.e. It's more convenient for me to load up Io and buy it than to run through the story on another character.
