What a load of shit... when he sold the armor that Sloan gives you, that was one thing, since there was a chance that you didn't pick what he sold, but if you have three characters, the game actually forces you to choose Riskrunner at some point.

I explained that in my post already, didn't I? If you have three characters, the game forces you to choose Risk Runner when Asher offers the weapons to you (and there's a good chance that you picked it on your first or second character as well) so what's the point of having Xur sell it? It's an OK weapon, but too situational for my tastes.

What if you only play 1, and you picked sunshot? Or maybe you don't have an smg to feed your original riskrunner and you don't want a poopy 205?

Probably nothing but its the fact that you already get one from the main story that's the problem. If someone wanted one on each character they could buy it from their collection (and if you're above 270 you will still need to infuse it up anyways) so its kind of pointless. At least with Wardcliff it was an RNG gun so not everyone would have gotten it.

That's a dumb argument. You learn from your mistakes, you don't keep repeating the same one, especially after you've shown that you learned your lesson in the past already. And how is him selling something over and over again comparable to this? This is like if Xur sold Young Wolves Howl. What's even the point?

Not really, there's 3 weapons and 3 pieces of armor and you get 1 of each per character unlike Yound Wolfs Howl that was the only free exotic. Not everyone makes more than 1 character so this is good for those people, xur isn't made to cater to those of us that grind our asses off it's for the more casual players and if he happens to sell something that RNGsus hasn't given us then great.
