A post 2 years old that's still valid...

So 2 years ago the TTK came out, and we were all pretty upset. Why? Because, Bungie had the game out for 1 year, and were still making day 1 mistakes. It lost a lot of great veteran players (including myself until I forgot about it, and Rise of Iron had been out for 7-8 months.) Guys, I advise going into your comment history sometime. You'll find yourself humiliated and inspired by the person you were (I'm serious, try it). If you have time, read this. It received a ton of positive feedback, and as ridiculous as it sounds, still holds true to this day... I thought it was ridiculous Bungie didn't fix mistakes 1 year in. We're at year 3 and nothing has changed... Old me would be ashamed... I feel so stupid forgetting this feeling, and still purchasing this dodo of a game... This is a bit long, so prepare yourself. I think you'll laugh at the irony of how it all ends up... "I have had this game since day 1. Approximately $140, a year, and several months, I can officially say Im done with Destiny. I always thought, they will release another expansion before it gets too repetitive, "Oh, a bug? It'll be fixed in a couple days!". I can no longer stick up for Destiny, and several others I play with have been saying it for weeks. I've even heard from others that after you quit, they send a survey asking why you left. The answers are always the same and usually invite a rant on the Destiny App forums. Now I can find the entire game, including TTK for $30 NEW! This is a spit in my (and all legacy players) faces. I have been a 319 for all my characters for MONTHS (I thoroughly believe Destiny knows I need a 320 ghost and I'm done, so I'll never get it). I took Tuesdays off, so I could find players to do the raid 3 times a day, every week, until this week. I had groups that were so solid we'd do it all together and be done in under 3 hours. Most have left, and today I defeated Oryx twice, but I actually didn't.. Oryx only took 20% damage when we activated 16 orbs. And the second time he took half. I felt with teleporting ogres screwing everything up, and my group refuses to do no knight (because that's the noob way), but it might be the ONLY reliable way now. I constantly stated "they will have to fix this soon". It's been over a month now, and it still happens! I finally said, that's it, I'm done! I've been noticing it takes substantially longer to find raid members on the forums (remember you would post Totems CP, and you would have 30 friend invites in under 60 seconds?) Now, it takes 10 minutes to fill it. I come across mostly lower 300 players now, who just got the game, because now it's so cheap. It's now painfully obvious I've been TOO loyal to Destiny. The veterans are mostly gone. The new players have to do a " glitch" to beat Totems. I literally get in arguments about it when someone brings it up to do it. Totems is so easy that I find it crazy to think that you would actually need to do a glitch to beat it. It breaks my Destiny loving soul, this game is dead. Today Destiny, you lost another Legacy Vet. I will not buy Destiny 2. The refusal to fix the Oryx glitch, on top of practically giving this game away has broken my straw riddled back. When something happens that can affect micro transactions, the problem is fixed within hours. A obvious problem in the raids and PVP, "glitch tricks", you can't even spend half a day to fix. This is so insulting you can't even fathom the anger it spills on the legacy players Keep this in mind when Destiny 2 comes out and fails, you pushed away your loyal fan base, in favor of moving on to Destiny 2 and selling TTK and all other expansions for $30 (literally IGN posted a listing for $30 today and it was $35 during holidays). These guys will not be your loyal fan base. They are players that picked up a bargain bin game. The legacy players will always remember how you treated us, and you have lost us. I'm done with videogames for a while, but the Division will have most of us next. Everyone is already telling 'em they are done until then, and it sounds like a solid plan. BTW, Maybe in Destiny 2 you can reward (new) legacy players. Lime in Iron Banner "Where light level matters" lol, (not)! How about giving 320 ghosts and good weapons and ships to players that do well!!! I saw 3 players get 320 shells, and they were all DEAD LAST, it made me want to do bad on purpose! It's like a participation trophy, the most sought after item should not be given to some 302 noob who got a .43 KDR, while the 319 guy at the top gets a blue engram! That's just messed up! Peace out Bungie, I really do hate you, and I don't spread that word often."
