Guardians STILL can’t pick up their feet!!

Fellow guardians, how many times have you gotten stuck on a step no taller than the sole of your boot!? How many times have you gotten trapped as you walk past a SLIGHT pokey out bit of a wall, and died as result!? How many times have you died in crucible because that damn pebble was far too greater obstacle for you to step over!? This is 3D modelling at its worst. VOTE YES IF YOU THINK THIS SHOULD BE FIXED. BUNGIE THIS HAS TO STOP. ITS BEEN 3+ YEARS!!! You can’t tell me that your Character Designers, Environment Artists and Physics Devs still haven’t figured out how to make guardians able to step over stones or lean around tiny surface changes! WE SHOULDN’T HAVE TO JUMP OVER A PEBBLE!! Come on man!

    • I am assuming the for option of your pole mean for the fixing of the issue, right? You didn't propose a change or ask a question that pertains to the answer, but seeing as that is where most votes are I went with that. Might wanna add that to your post. I definitely agree this needs to be fixed, more than half my pve deaths are due to this. And also slopes bouncing you backwards when jumping. That crap pisses me off too.

This is a thing in all games nowadays, have to have all of that clutter to make it look believable. Not that I am okay with it, just saying bungie aint the only one. Also I find it weird that sparrows don't have any force from their back end unless they are on the ground. Helplessly ramping upwards is maddening.

        • I've noticed this issue in a lot of modern shooters. There is sooo much detail in the environment that it is hard to navigate it without feet. In games like Halo, the walls were all smooth and acted as just that. The Trials map has a Halo feel, and definitely has less rubble for Guardians to trip over. I wish it was in Quickplay so I can stop tripping over pots and pans in Midtown.

        • Don't forget how walls and slopes throw you around like a phalanx on a GOOD day.

        • OMG, I thought I was the only one! This bothers me to no end. It was so prevalent in D1 and NEVER GOT FIXED! The worst is when it's a step in an actual staircase they can't walk over! I just... my mind can't... I just can't. How!? This is probably my second biggest vexation with the game (behind the "taken").

          • Yup, still can't step over pebbles, rocks, and sometimes actual steps. Physics wise nothing much has changed.
