If you're having a hard time at callus, this is your problem

Communication is a skill not generally associated w video games and certainly isnt a skill that most people develop by playing video games. I've noticed most adults who have real jobs are easier to raid with than players who have more skill. A lot of teens and people who don't get out much just have a hard time communicating effectively with a team to achieve a goal. You don't have to be a working adult to communicate well in a raid, but you are more likely to have better communication skills if you are. Learn when to talk, learn when to shut up, learn when to lead, learn when to follow. The only thing that matters is achieving the goal, so if whatever you are doing or saying doesn't specifically further that goal, then don't do or say it. Show some self control. Inb4 I have to edit this: extensive experience in destiny raids should improve your communication skills, you don't necessarily have to be an adult w a good job to be a good raider Edit: I've noticed everyone that commented early largely agreed and now that the thread is trending all the salty salts out there started salting the thread w their salt And being bad at destiny can obviously hold you back, but again I'm speaking in general terms

 • After beating callus, i honestly sat and thought to myself, this was a very boring boss fight. It was not very intense, ads are easy to take care of, and the only problem solving during the fight is which psion to melee. Theres little finess, and prestige mode needs to make a huge jump in difficulty in order to be a true challenge. Let me tell you this. I love all of destiny's raids. Im a year 2 player but i have beaten all of them just because i wanted to try the original raids. They all have fun mechanics to learn, but i want mechanics that are hard to learn, and hard to practice. Thats what makes things fun, the challenge. The challenge seperates those who are committed from those who are not. With a challenge, if you are 270 power and amazing at finesse, you can outshine the 300 power who barely lives because only his power is higher. I like this raid, but in my opinion, i feel there may be more they could add even to just normal mode.
