Lets have a tower meeting about that grimoire debate

So. As many of us in the forums have taken a notice too, the grimoire us absent. Some of us love it a lot hate it so lets come together for a tower meeting. Let's consult the consensus. MY OPINION I'm a huge fan of how the story feels as if you actually get real personality from the characters. The whole game world feels more in depth and immersive for it, and the characters more relatable, and emotionally present. In lesser terms they make us give a -blam!- about them. However I do have a complaint. And it's my main feeling on the subject because I like What they added but not at that price of no grimoire (I'll discuss at the end why it does, lore wise, male sense though*) .... i would only disagree with the act of abolishing the grimoire. It was my FAVORITE part by the end of destiny. Like everyone else I was annoyed I had to go online to get the story of the game I was playing to see these cards i was constantly unlocking. That view was naive. I learned it took extensive knowledge of historical cultures and their myths legends beliefs and customs and really really very truly represented an ACTUAL GRIMOIRE comprised of fragments of what people knew and brought with them in exodus to the last city. I don't know if you've ever gone and tried to read a real life GRIMOIRE but they are DENSE as well as very cryptic to avoid persecution. And quite frankly no player should be forced into trying to understand that especially with Destiny having a relatively large younger player base. So, to have the grimoire in the game was on no level necessary. Can you imagine sitting infront of your tv stuck while trying to read That? I read it EVERYWHERE It also allowed me to read it on my down time. It was very much the deepest fascination of the Destiny universe and WHY I even continued buying dlc as they came out (<seriously tho) *(that reason why it makes sense, lore-wise) dude the cabal were BRUTAL when they attacked our tower was trashed and were in a new one. While some more scholarly guardians may have ran for their grimoire they prolly dead as a doornail we as a society in-game we reasonably have lost so much of our collected knowledge we no longer HAVE one.
Ps bungie. You're not clever using grimoire cards as dialogue in the game as dialog. Thats....lazy. specifically the golden gun traveler shard mission. Every word we a copy of grimoire card. I appreciate the good old college effort to put it in-game but fųķing really?
