A lore book is in the game. Go visit Asher, he has it out on his stand.
But no on a serious note, yes a library of some sort in the tower would be an amazing addition to the game. When we said we wanted the lore to be in the game, we don't mean completely get rid of grimoire.

It's hard to run from scalable to scannable and get things straight. A lore book would be a great way to organize discoveries

Exactly. Get rid of the whole ghost collecting stuff and keep the current grimoire. I mean, this was YEARS in the making, our current grimoire and taking it off the bungie app is basically getting rid of access to it besides using an external source like other destiny database websites that contains this info. Pretty dumb decision decision imo. Also, on this topic can we just talk about how shitty the new destiny 2 app is? Forums are hard to find, you can't view stats or grimoires or anything of those sort, gear layout is more complicated than it needs to be.. they changed everything about the UI when nothing needed to be changed. If it ain't broke don't fix it lol

Agreed 100%. The book should record any Ghost dialogue on discoveries and scannables etc. as well as add some much needed lore on enemies we defeat. I really miss the Enemy grimoire cards from D1. not enough information about the ultras/bosses we kill in D2.
