I've played Destiny since D1 / week 1. I used to enjoy Crucible. In D1 the maps were a bit larger, the teams were 6v6, and this allowed for many 1v1 opportunities. Sure, you encountered groups at times (usually 3-4) from the opposing side, but due to it being 6v6, you and a bunch of randoms could rally together to turn things around.
In D2, the 4v4 with smaller maps is not an enjoyable experience most times. Teams group up way too often and simply team shoot opponents. How is this fun? How can you win a gun fight? And if not that, with the maps being so small, if you are gun-fighting an opponent and win, their teammate immediately cleans you up because of the small maps / close proximity / and low health.
Bungie, please make some adjustments and fast. Why fix a system that wasn't broken? D1 Crucible was fine. Sure, make minor adjustments, but you did a complete overhaul and broke it in my opinion.
Lastly, I feel like you're forcing us to be 4v4 like competitive COD, but you may be forgetting that COD is 6v6, and only in esports / tournaments is it 4v4.
You had it right the first time.
The fun has been taken out of it.

Edited by Zurreal: 9/26/2017 6:58:54 AMWhile your observations is correct I absolutely don't agree with you. Players working together as a team in TEAM PVP is not a bad thing. That's how it's supposed to be. More often than not in Destiny 1 your random match made "team" ran off in different directions playing clash or even rumble even though the game type was control or salvage, leaving you the only one worrying about the objective. This works a lot better in Destiny 2. Players generally care more about the objective and tend to stick together more.
