"The provided clan name or clan tag is not acceptable, please choose another." What?
I am attempting to update my clans about us section in order to better outline how my clan operates but when I go to save the changes I receive the "The provided clan name or clan tag is not acceptable, please choose another." notification. I have used the same Clan name and tag since the beginning of D1 and only now am I having an issue with it. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have the same problem but just can't get it to work. My clan is german, so I want to write the text in german, but however I phrase it, I'll end up getting that error. I tried entering the text word for word, but then I get the message that I can't change the description that often and have to wait a couple of minutes. It's really annoying!

1 ReplyHad the same problem, but it had nothing to do with the clan name itself. I wanted to have "don't be a dick" in my clan description, but apparently that's a potty mouth no no unfit for the ears of the poptart munchers.

6 RepliesI had the same problem for the longest time. For whatever reason, the system doesn't let you have misspelled words in the body, even if it's intentional/creative. It has nothing to do with the clan name/tag.
