Not the same ole crap (it was overused in D1 too after the scout rifle buff). Trial of Mida isn't fun. Not because it's difficult, but because it's boring and the same match over and over.

It shouldn't even be in the -blam!-ing game yet here it is with earthquake flinch rounds, ridiculous shoot through walls aim assist, easy as hell to use and has increased move speed ridiculous base stats oh and 3rd eye lol. I mean if you defend that it's not unbalanced you are either a moron, or a scrub who has to rely on a crutch because actual gun skill scares you. For the most part I've been shitting on teams running all 4 mida scrubs, but even then it's obvious the gun is completely OP. Take off high cal rounds and you'll still have a great gun but at least there would be more diversity in weapons. There's a reason it makes up more kills than the next 9 weapons combined.

It dropped at 286 when i was 268... pretty sure i'm not the only one that happened to, so yeah everybody and their mom (including me) are gonna use it.

I don’t care for the mida one bit however all this butthurt crying on the forums off Pvp is gonna get it nerfed , and that means it’s a waste of space in pve they should have separated the stats from pve and Pvp.

17 RepliesOne. That's -blam!-ed. I can only hope that the Ishtar Collective is an unofficial, unrelated website to Bungie. Two. If Bungie responded like that to complaints why should people seriously continue to support their endeavors. Three. The Mida is what they call, "broken in block", or rather in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is King. Everything else needs to be buffed, well not literally everything, but about 90% of things in this game. The emphasis on Gunplay over Space Magic has gone too far. The lack of diversity in gun types is heartbreaking. One of the best things they could do is release the suros regime at its former glory so we can a trials where 90% of the guns are not the multi-tool. Thorn... TLW... whatever. Just some damn diversity Finally, in the past the main thing that got guns looked at allegedly was percentage of use in a major event. Two weeks, two weeks enough to learn their mistakes? I really wish this game had a better rival from another company because competition breeds innovation. I'd like to see what would happen if Bungie had that incentive

21 RepliesIf the Trials map can change, people would see how dumb they look. Yes, I know it's overused. But it's that way for 3 specific reasons 1). Only gun in the game with active radar 2). One of the easiest exotics to obtain 3). The most important factor, the map in Trials is favoring a long-range loadout. Put the previous 2 in and it's no wonder why people are using it. Wanna counter? Use a close range weapon and flank to get close and personal. MIDA may be the most well rounded, but it isn't the best. Any scout rifle with a high rof or a high impact can beat a MIDA.

I don't even play PVP so it breaks my heart to know that a handful of players are ruining Destiny 2 for me, forcing Bungie to neuter one of the few fun Exotics in the whole entire game.

And that is without an ecosystem in which close range weapons (like sidearms, autos, and hand cannons) are weak. Imagine if auto rifles still fired marshmallows or hand cannons couldn't hit beyond five meters. Mostly a bunch of new or returning players who are getting learned today, methinks.

In trials my clan learned the MIDA is easily countered with hit and run tactics. Other scout rifles hit harder in less shots, so you synchronize fire, and you can kill faster in group fire then they can in group fire. The MIDAs gift is its rapid rate of fire, at the loss of impact. If you have multiple slowfire heavy impact your fire team has a faster ttk than a fire team of MIDAs. MIDA compliments lone wolf, or flanking gameplay. But for fireteams and concentrated fire other weapons preform better.
