solo players are dead
thanks for screwing solo players D2 once again. oh you want to spend 5 hours with randoms on a raid boss . now spend 6 hours trying to get the chest. F U bungie

2 RepliesIf in this day and age you can't find people to play with and group with then you are the problem. I have a full time job, a daughter and a wife and I have no trouble meeting and finding people to play with. This is a you problem. With guided games, in game clan support, and this app itself it has never been easier to find people to play with.

3 RepliesWell, i have learnt just recently that playing this game every single day for hours is a waste of time, since everything you can do doesn't give me anything worth getting, only the weekly flashpoints and the clan xp is the only thing that i can safely do on my own each week and that tends to take roughly 3-4 hours to do, after they are done, there is nothing else to do. I don't know anyone to do nightfall with, i tried the guided games and they just get clans that don't talk, they don't res me, they rush on ahead, ignoring every enemy and even the mechanic to get more time and then ragequit when they die once....its just a waste of time unless you have an active clan that actually talks, the clan i am in, don't say a word to me at all, don't even ask me if i want to do a nightfall or the raid, they just do it together.......its just pointless to even be in a clan, except for that 1 powerful gear engram per week.

I mean, the left plenty of pathways for solo players to reach end game level loot this go around? And as a 3 year solo player in D1 I can assure you they did. I only joined a clan last Monday but I still tend to run solo unless it's going to be the raid or NF. Also, last I checked, 3 years ago it took just as long for noobs and solos to finish VoG with randoms in the first couple weeks of the release. History repeats itself. Maybe wait a week or two till people get the raid nailed down before trying it with randoms off lfg.

I’m almost exclusively Solo, never had an issue with any content intended to be able to be done Solo, a Raid and Nightfall are End-game, they require teams of people, Solo players aren’t dead, most Solo players don’t frequent forums. So kindly, pull your fist out of yourself, and go play the game, and not be so whiny. You can handle almost anything this game throws at you if you utilise that thing between your ears, I’ve even been attempting the Nightfalls Solo (Getting 2 clan mates to get me in, then then dropping out, almost did the Vex one, the current one it run out of time with the boss). Seriously, if Solo is dead for you, then that is because you either can’t utilise the tools you have, or your just bad.. I’m going to think it’s a 3rd problem for you, and that’s that your too used to D1 and how Solo’able a lot (Not all of its content but a lot) of it’s stuff was, modify how you approach situations, change how you play as a Solo’ist. Being a Solo player means you have to make up for a Titan, a Warlock, and a Hunter all in one, not just play as one an think you can do it that way. I’m only a 293 Hunter and I never played D1 or an FPS before now (Came from EVE), but honestly, it’s quite easy to adapt. Good luck and don’t be a dumb -blam!-!

Your personality is probably the reason behind that. This game requires people to get along and coexist. There are plenty of single player games this just isn't one of the better ones. If you have a good personality and get along with others it's pretty fun

Sounds like a you problem. I'm guessing it's 1 of 2 things. -You refuse to find people to play with. -You don't possess the time for extended play. If it's thst important to you, make the time and/or stop being a wus and find people. The game is what it is, adapt to it for go somewhere else. You knew this coming in so you have no one to blame but yourself.

If you want to stay a solo player. Then stay away from team based activites. Destiny has and will always be heavily based on team work. But it still has rabdom activities that you can do solo. And those solo activities are what you do. Raids and Trials and such were never meant to be played by solo players. Those are team work based activities.

This isn't a very constructive complaint. If you offer ideas that would make your experience better as a solo player you would help your case.

The chests are pretty easy to get to solo once you figure it out. Just youtube how to get to them. The first one took me forever to figure out (fuggin' security bots), but the rest were pretty quick.

2 RepliesA mate and i two manned all the chests and tried to get used to some of the underbelly. Its really not that hard and only took us about an hour. If it takes you longer then your group sucks and your guide is lost. The raid also shouldnt take that long with a decent group. Just saying

People whine too much. I've played both games mainly solo and I've always had fun. If I wanna raid or do trials I look for a group. It's not that hard

I'm a solo player and do fine. I've did the raid in less then two hours the other day with randoms, the chests took another hour since we had no clue where they were
