I just dunno how they made a Roman-themed race of aliens and their raid didn't have anything close to a Coliseum. like son what are yall doin

The race has a Roman themed, but the raid itself seems more Egyptian.

that's what I thought! like why they got so much gold, white, and purple??? Roman colours I thought would've been red, black, and gold. not even Egyptians had a strange colour palate as to mish-mash gold and purple...like modern day pimp colours that don't go too well together

They literally have an enemy type called "Gladiator"; no colosseum. Don't worry guys, they're busy reskinning archon's forge/prison of elders/court of oryx so we can have a cabal themed arena activity soon! (Next dlc)

Thats the only thing that really dissapointed me. I wanted to be a Gladiator fighting for survival in front of 1000's of watching Cabal to prove myself to Calus. They could have even took the current raid and put it into a Colosseum. So you fight all the banner parts in the arena. Then when completed the interior transforms into each area of the raid (think holographic room from Star Trek) still with a watching audience. Then in challenge mode the only way to know if you'd done the challenge properly would be if the Emperor did the whole thumbs up or down thing. I think that would have been pretty good anyway.

I think if you got teleported to the arena to fight Calus as the final boss (think the movie Gladiator where he fought the Emperor in the Coliseum) that would've been cool, or if they made it an entrance w the challenge being survive infinite enemies for a certain time then enter the actual "raid" part woulda been cool
