People complaining about the loot seem to forget that unlike before there are now numerous ways to increase your power (formerly known as light) instead of just Raid and pvp events. The tokens are there to guarantee that you get loot from the raid and if you so happen to enjoy the look of the armor or the feel of the guns then you can infuse them with those upgrades you got from nightfall/flashpoint/call to arms/clan exp/trials. Also if you aren't aware it seems you are guaranteed a piece of loot from Calus with a minimum of 300 power.

  • Nope. My pulse rifle from the Raid was 296. And I was 289 already. I don't think it a guaranteed 300 drop.

  • Good point, Although I got a raid chest piece from my raid token stash, I wasn't too disappointed since the aesthetics of it didn't attract me much - the raid loot was about 12 points lower than my equipped piece. However, I did stash it in my vault - to which I can infuse to higher levels from gear that drops during the weekly milestones. What I appreciate about Destiny (2) is that it's a living game. Some of the game elements can/will evolve over time and it requires our feedback; even if it does require some passion to get the message across. For now, I'm being patient and enjoying the load out I am preparing for the road ahead. I don't trust those Jovian's just yet.
