I doubt it. Its easier to use hand cannons with a mouse and keyboard and feels harder to use auto rifles while the opposite is true with a controller. I play on xbox and i played the PC beta. But using a controller on the pc i was able to use rifles again just fine. Pc doesnt change the fact that hand cannons are not as powerful and consistent as well... any other weapon in Destiny 2 at the moment. They need tweaking for sure.

@Angelis101[i] I used better devils in trials and went flawless[/i]. i think it was [u]weaker[/u] and [b]agree with you compared to scouts [/b]but I enjoyed the challenge. it will be interesting to see the meta change if they do give the hand cannons a buff in close range engagements.

I went flawless and cotinued to play for drops after that even used a hand cannon a few times. There was never a scenario where my hand cannon gave me an advantage or i preferred it over any weapon i had. Rather it was pitiful just how much weaker it was. Last hope / Mids pretty much was my go to and again the niche i would have liked to use a hand cannon: last hope just completely outshind and in any other scenario prosecutor was it. In a fair fight hand cannons wouldn't win out in any of my engagements. Im not saying buff them to make them OP. Just bring them up to a competitive level. Which the TTK's right now are so bad that's hard to do.
