hunters are not fine, it's as simple as that. Bungie needs to do something about. I've been maining hunter since the destiny 1 beta and, for the most part, they have usually been the worst class to play as in pvp. This is also the case in destiny 2, except it's much worse. Hunters aren't just not quite as good as warlock or titan, they are miles behind them. hunter grenades are crap, titan grenades one shot shields and damage over time, and shut down supers. Hunters melee sucks, smoke bomb no longer have burn, throwing knives were nerfed since d1. Our supers really suck! tether cant kill on impact, nor can it actually tether someone quickly enough to be useful (same as d1) arcstrider is suicide because it gets melted and little to no range, speed, or blocking capabilities. Finally our ability is laughable. While the other classes get abilities that support them and their team, we get a roll. It is just a worse version of shadestep from d1, it has a horribly long cool down, and both the perk choices are pretty much useless. Meanwhile, the warlock has a dodge ability right in their skill tree, because apparently warlocks are the agility class now.
