I found the raid extremely fun, personally. Throughout the entire raid, we never looked anything up or watched a walk through, so we got to learn it as we went. The only thing that bothered our group was the Pleasure Gardens because we didn't realize that after popping two flowers that two more would spawn. After we figured that out, the dogs were considered the favorite part of the raid by the whole team because we could finish it in one damage phase. All in all, I enjoyed it. However the only raids I did in D1 (since I was three years late in to the party) was Vault of Glass and Crota, so that could also be why. Who knows. I enjoyed it and my raid team enjoyed it despite some frustrations (mostly caused by bugs) here and there.
Between my entire raid group, we've all helped countless people with parts they're stuck on. Everything is easy if your team is competent.

Gardens are rough. Our clan hasn't made it through yet despite a team of all 295+. We don't even make it to the damage phase, just keep getting seen. Our clan leader uses LFG to complete it.

Our group has practically perfected dogs, though it's difficult if you dont have the mechanics and the placement/movements of the dogs down. Honestly, when we first did it, we spent about 3 days on dogs which ended up being about 6 hours total (due to time constraints from a raid member). Enjoyable when it's down to a T though!
