[Controls] Needed Hunter quality of life improvements

---Dodge should be on hold, and not on a double press Now there's issues where you'll be crouching after a dodge, and you also cannot crouch and uncrouch quickly. ---Nightstalker melee grenade should be on hold, not on tap Normal melee should be on tap. I'm hesitant to use melee because if I miss I'm going to waste a pretty long cooldown. (Unimportant side notes) I put this in balance because I didn't know where else to put it. It is balance related though, I guess, because hunters are hobbled by these controls in ways that other classes are not.

Post I made back in May.

Tl;dr: Option for seperate keybind for basic melee and melee charge on PC for Destiny 2. And remove/swap Player Highlighting keybind on consoles and replace that keybind with Class Ability! This makes everything a little bit more fair between all subclasses.
Dear Bungie, These are relatively small annoyances, but annoyances nonetheless. These only pertain to Gunslinger, Nightstalker in Destiny and Gunslinger in Destiny 2 (as there's no info on the other subclasses yet.) First off is the melee overwrite ability. Compared to the other 7 melee abilities they are thrown, even when you have no target, you just throw it. If you accidently press the melee button, you lose your charge and have to wait for the cooldown. Whereas the other 7 subclasses if you don't have a target you use your melee but don't lose your melee charge. On the other hand though, as long as a Gunslinger or Nightstalker is close enough, we use our basic melee instead of our charge, which can be nice. Albeit this is very dependant on how laggy the game is. Sometimes you use your basic melee when you are outside of range and you slice air instead of throwing the melee charge like you wanted to, or the other way around, throw melee charge even though you are within basic melee range. It's not always necessary to use your melee charge to finish someone off, potentionaly wasting a cooldown you could've used to overcome your next engagement. So how do you fix this? You could change it so the other 7 subclasses also use up their melee charge even if they don't hit a target. But nobody wants that. The best option would be a seperate button for the melee charge ability. But this is near impossible on consoles as they are limited in the amount of buttons they have. But on PC, for Destiny 2, it is possible! Bungie promised us complete remapable keys for PC. I've seen the pictures of the current default keyboard layout. There's a seperate button for everything, except for the melee charge ability. So please Bungie! Please for the love of everything! Allow us to bind seperate keybinds for basic melee and melee charge abilities. Now, for Destiny 2 on PC, there is a seperate keybind for the newly introduced class abilities. Great! But this brings me to my second issue. This only pertains to consoles. On consoles the class abilities are bound to the crouch button. (Atleast for the 3 subclasses they revealed so far.) For the Striker (Barricade) and for Dawnblade (Rift) the class ability is a press-and-hold crouch to activate it. For Gunslinger (Dash) however it's on double-tap crouch. Why is this an issue? I consider being able to Strafe, spamming Crouch and shooting your gun all at the same time to be part of basic gunplay. Considering how primary (kinetic and energy weapons) gunfights have potentially slowed down a bit, be prepared to see this happen more often. However, a Gunslinger can't do this without accidently using and potentially wasting its class ability. Whereas Strikers and Dawnbladers don't have to worry about this. This is not so much an issue for Nightstalkers in the current Destiny as it's only on a 3 second cooldown and you consciously make the choice to pick that ability in the subclass tree. But Gunslingers in Destiny 2 don't have that luxury of choice and Dash is on a 15 second cooldown. Because of this you are limiting Gunslinger's basic movements. So how would you fix this for consoles? You could put Dash on a press-and-hold but that would be too slow. It's an ability you potentially want to use quickly so that's not an option. You could have a seperate keybind. Remove the 'Player Highlight' keybind and replace it with class ability. There's no use for player highlighting because all it allows you to do is to look into someones profile and character. But when someone is close enough for you to highlight them you can also find them in the Roster in the menu screen and you can inspect their profile and characters through there (which is actually faster!). The only other option would be to put all the other class abilities on double-tap crouch aswell. But I can see this being a weird feeling for something like Rift and Barricade. So please Bungie! For the love of everything! Remove the Player Highlight button on consoles and replace it with class ability. (Or swap them around.) Thanks in advance! Love the game! Can't wait to play Destiny 2!
