Can anyone explain the different armor benefits ?

As the description says I am hoping for an in detail explanation of the different amor benefits (mobile, heavy, restorative) in order to decide end game gear. Also do they affect PvP and PvE? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

    Nope, I'm just going with what looks cool. Just need the faction shoulders from titan for the titan and I'm set for the next 3 years.

  • Mobility doesn't actually do anything of note. Resilience when maxed out lets you take 1 more dreg melee Recovery when maxed out increases the time it takes for your health to regen by about 1s

    • Mobile makes you faster, resilience makes you tougher and recovery makes you heal faster. Hunters have gear that naturally increases mobility, titans resilience and warlocks recovery. I prefer a fast tough hunter about a [spoiler]6 or 7 mobility and a 8 or 9 resilience[/spoiler] but I'd prefer a solid [spoiler]8,8, 0[quote]because why worry about recovery if I'm busy running and killing? Just keep running[/quote][/spoiler] If you prefer a relaxed play style try neutral gear different planets have different gear sets. EDZ had heavy for me (as a hunter) and i keep grinding it just for the chest rig with 2 grenades and a knife. I've gotten at least. 6 or 7 legendary engrams and still NO CHEST PIECE. Of course i want it purely for cosmetic purposes since no other chest piece in the game has. A molle system on it or visable grenades or a knife. It just would look perfect for my hunter with my exotic leg armor. [spoiler]only thing is for a 8,8,0 spread I'm not sure that chest piece could work with it. I'd likely have a 6,9,0 spread due to my gear set. 3 heavy armors and the exotic.[/spoiler] So in short the 3 armor perks are mobility [u]for speed[/u] resilience [u]for toughness[/u] and recovery [u]for regaining health quickly. A 6+ recovery likely takes 1.4 seconds tp fully heal when not being attacked. Having zero[spoiler]like myself[/spoiler] means it might take 4 or 5 seconds of non damage to fully heal[/u] Hope this helps.
