Crucible: New game, New mindset.

Playing Crucible in D2, and I see a trend of "teamshooting". I'm more a lone wolf. I tend to stray off the pack and see if I can flank from the sides or behind, and I can do that to an extent in this game, but not at all like in D1. It also could be because of the new 4v4 layout, but I feel lone wolfing can only get you so far, especially if it's a teamshooting team. Is teamshooting a bad thing? No, it's a smart tactic, but also a very loud one. You and your teammates are all centered in one area, and the enemy knows exactly where all of you are. A smart team will know how to counter appropriately, but the problem occurs when it's a team of 4 versus a group of solo players. Why that happens is beyond me, but teamshooting will always be a tactic, nerfing or no nerfing, especially in this type of game. It occurred to me that I was playing a different game, and I feel as though people are missing that fact. Yes, personally, I preferred some aspects of D1, but I feel in D2 there is a really nice balance between gun skill and teamwork. D1 really only cared if you ran stickies and sidearms in the end. Nostalgia can sometimes be your enemy, and I personally long for the days of Blink Shotgun as they were the most fun I'd had in D1. In that game, people complained enough to change the game, and change it again, and change it again. I can see that happening in this game too, but would it be for the best? In D1, changes needed to be made. In D2, we want changes to be made. I feel as though, since this is a new game, we should give it a chance to show it's true colors before calling for nerfs or buffs. I could say many things about supers, particular gun archetypes and exotics, but like I said, I realized we are playing a different game. My skills in D1 cannot be applied fully in this game. Anyway, that's my take on the whole situation. TL;DR: Give Lord Shaxx a chance, he knows his Crucible. Though there really should be a solo playlist. No excuses for that.
