So have been watching a few streams, all are the same;
Race to get to a certain power level then buy silver to purchase mods from banshee to level up quicker past 270 or whatever it is.
So those who don't want to or aren't able to purchase mods languish behind, waiting for mods to drop through RNG.
This is not a level playing field.
Everyone should have the opportunity to level up at a similar rate even in cognisance of RNG drops insofar as time invested in playing is applied.
This isn't occurring.
Pay to win Bungie. Quite sad to see you reverted to a business model based on exploitation knowing there would be a 'race' to level up.
I'm not short of a bob or two, was always dubious about purchasing D2 having spent 3 years watching D1 go down the dunny. Just disappointed.
Here to stay?? It never arrived dude. You need to sit your over reacting ass down. How do I pay to win, win what? What would you class as winning destiny?? Defeating the raid in under 8 hours with no autism in the party???

Edited by freesoulpk: 9/12/2017 2:02:10 PMbanhee sell legendary mod for glimmer dude ahahahaha
-
you can buy legendary mods from banshee with glimmer. This isnt pay too win, its pay to get a random mod you may not even get. Im tired of babies saying "pay to win" when they dont even know what pay to win even is.
-
Shoulda played the game a little bit before post such a whiny loser crybaby thread lol. You would've noticed all those mods drop like crazy from leveling up pfffff.

Lol grow up loser

Bright engrams purchased or earned only give cosmetic and blue mods. You have to earn all Legendary mods to get that +5 bonus. It's not Pay to Win by any means, you won't get ahead by buying those engrams no matter how hard you try. Also you have to be 280 to get legendary mods from banshee.

All these threads in all games have the same answer.... get a job kid

Edited by Nox Lumina: 9/11/2017 10:45:45 AMPay to Win means using real currency to get an advantage. Using Glimmer to buy Mods off Banshee is not P2W...
Jesus -blam!-ing Christ
Edit: NVM you actually think buying Mods with Silver is a thing. That's funny, Banshee is bombing me with Blue Mods that I'll be able to convert once I reach 280. Silly silly
-
It isn't a race to level up
-
I'm 281 never paid *shrug*

This game is NOT pay to win. Its just bright engrams which are completely random. AS for the light level that someone else might have doesn't effect you AT ALL. So youre upset that people "pay to win" against NPCs. I work 12 hours a day. I don't have time to grind like I did in Destiny 1. Though its not actual cash.... You could say that Xur is "pay to win"
-
I think you misunderstand the definition of pay to win lol
-
You do know you can buy mods from the gunsmith right?
-
Banshee doesnt take Silver, he takes Glimmer. He also doesnt sell mods that raise your Light Level. Tl;dr - the -blam!- are you on about?
-
The system does not bother me as some people don't get to play as much as others. If they want to pay for a little boost then who cares.
-
Quit your bitching I have never payed for nothing other then the game I am 275 just know how to lvl up do heroic for exotic or strikes u lvl up in no time
