So the hunter is completely worthless?
The hunter's got nothing going for it, the dodge is worthless, he gets a reload every 20 seconds?? While titans can build a wall that hurts enemies and gives free reloads and immediately begins recharging after the shield is deployed. The hunter super golden gun literally only shots 6 times and you have about 7 seconds to do it, meanwhile the other classes all have 1 shot kill supers that last 20 seconds and are amazingly powerful.
The hunter dodging (which they can still be hurt when doing) only gives them a free reload every 17 seconds?? that is -blam!-ing worthless, the warlock can heal, get super powered weapons, the hunter's only good side is it's jump and that has been handed over to warlocks as they can blink now and hunters can't. So a hunter is total crap..
Why has bungie completely destroyed this class????

Just so you know, warlocks have exotic boots that make their Rift reload everyone's weapons just like the Titan wall. So... RIP hunters?

A few Warlocks peppered throughout. Hunters are good in the proper hands. I.e. those who main hunter throughout d1

2 RepliesArcstrider with the gamblers dodge that refills your melee paired with the way of the warrior skill tree. This build is a close quarters combat meat grinder. I'm now in the habit of clearing entire darkness zones without firing a shot. Melee. Dodge. Repeat. I don't know if I've ever been happier to be a hunter (but all classes are great and deserve our respect).

9 RepliesThe only people who are okay with hunters are titan mains. They like to pretend they're the underdogs with their strongest class in the freaking game. "We're so underpowered with our super with tracking one hit kill attacks, and an area of effect super that we don't even have to aim and a shield that gives us overshields and extra weapon damage and our grenades that shut down supers and our grenades that spam damage like nothing else in the game and our melees that one hit kill... We're soooo underpowered" Man if you can't maintain a solid 1.2 kdr in crucible playing a titan, you must be playing with your toes or something.

Damn man, i was playing a strike a few minutes ago and there was an Hunter there absolutly recking every thing. Hunters are good, people should stop bitching a little bit. My only concern about the game was the loadout system and , damn man it`s not that really bad. People just like to nag about every thing. Just saying...

It's underwhelming, for sure. I'll reach and call it [i]just okay[/i] in PVE, but still hardly on par with others. I get that "lone wolves" are the theme, but it's still pretty weak sauce if you compare the lone wolf apple to the Titan/Warlock orange. For PVP? Still need more playing time to sound off with any seriousness.

East with ad control and can take some bosses head on gunslinger can be one of the best pve classes in the game cause one of the skill trees let u do precision damage with golden gun and more precision damage u get faster golden gun charges and it's the highest orb generating class in the game nightstalker I haven't seen much at all so I don't really know what to say for it but it's still nightstalker what really gets me is that ur only complaint because u don't like the dodge ability I know nightstalker does have the smoke bomb soooo

Since im only level 7 or 8(cant check since the app crashes every time i tap that tab) gunslinger, im currently unlocking it, and so far the class feels pretty good in pve and its about being mobile, as for pvp, its only a matter of time before hunters start pissing people off again, especially arcstrider

However, the Hunter is comparatively worthless when compared to Titan and Warlock because basically all of their skill trees offer decent synergy and something worth playing, and their class ability is good. Arc Strider is a pile of garbage. One thing this video doesn't address because it came out before the exotics were leaked is that the Hunter also has, BY FAR, the worst exotics. The Titan and Warlock exotics offer tons of utility and great perks and the Hunter exotics are extremely lackluster and uninspired. One thing I completley disagree with, Arc Strider is way more nerfed than Gunslinger. Arc Strider is the trash tier subclass of the game.

3 RepliesSucks that you'll actually have to try in order to be good now. "It's a skill class" actually mean something now, as opposed to before when assholes would use their super to fly across the map like Peter -blam!-in' Pan and toss grenades that would zap all of your teams health away without being aimed. Also, you can always make a Titan or warlock. They give you three character slots for reason. If your play-style no longer matches your class you can pick a class that does.

I don't know this for a fact and am not stating it as such , but I saw a lot of Hunters in D1 , generally half of any pvp game I was in were hunters. I am not defending destroying the class (IDK what they have done, I'm at work and haven't played yet) , but if they just adjusted it to be more in line with the other classes and ended up penalizing it to much , they will correct it soon enough , I would think.
