Don't Let Youtubers Over Hype D2 for You!
Will it be fun, yes. Do I love Destiny, of course.
But if we allow these youtubers to hype up everything to the point where even the smallest detail is [b][i][u]MORE DESTINY 2 NEWS!!!![/u][/i][/b] then we are fooling ourselves, and the game will never live up to this expectation.
If, for example you think that all Lost Sectors are some huge elaborate explorable dungeon...they aren't. Sure there may be 2-3 that are tough to find and pretty big. But Bungie have said multiple times that lost sectors are meant to be cleared in 15 minutes.
If, for another example, you think that the game will have endless content for eons and you'll never finish the story...you're wrong. Yes there is stuff to do, but eventually there will not be stuff to do and when that happens we can't refer to a YouTube video about [b][i][u]OMG STORY MODE 700 CUT SCENES!!![/u][/i][/b].
Play the game. Enjoy the game. That's it.

Yeah but the truth is D2 has way more shit. 80 missions apparently. New things and new mechanics will make the new grind less terrible. I look forward to grinding the new strikes and exploring the new worlds. Most of the YouTube videos are legit anyway. Every time I see a new video it is new info. Like the new holographic table flip animation -blam!- yes

I found out that the ability cooldowns are still 5 years long in the PC beta, so my hype went down the shitter. PvE is gonna be boring as -blam!-. What's the -blam!-ing point of putting badass abilities in the game if we can hardly ever use them? Why would you make everything worse than the first game?

I tend to take reviews and opinions with a grain of salt because I have yet to meet another person on this planet that thinks and feels the EXACT same way I do about everything imaginable. So I rarely, if ever get hyped because of someone elses opinion of something. If I get hyped I did to myself because of previous experience i.e. hyped over a sequel when I loved the first installment.
