I loved the Taken in the missions and strikes, but they got old really fast in patrol.

Oh you're in this area to farm specific spawns for a bounty? Here! Have some taken! It's not like there's an entire dreadnought of them or something.

yep. lets just wait and take out this boss for my bounty. nevermind, someone just entered the area on a mission that triggers taken. be back later. Ok I'm back aaaaaaaand someone else on the same mission just entered the area. Abandons queens guard bounty.

I certainly don't love the taken, however I do like the variety in strikes they introduce. As far as patrol, hate them.
