Not in game concept, mind you. But in game execution.
Remember how awful Titanfall 1 was? Remember how that game was one of the biggest let downs to ever hit the Xbox 1? How it ended up in the bargain bin half a year later?
...Then Titanfall 2 happened?
And at first, during the Tech Test(or beta), Titanfall 2 had a lot of changes that the core fan base did not like. (Not being able to customize your own load out for your titan, etc etc.)
And then the game released. And was amazing. And til this day remains one of the most underrated shooters on console ever.
I hope the same happens to Destiny 2. Where the first game was trying to figure out what it wants to be, and the second game is like "Yeah, I know what I want to be." And then -blam!-ing nails it.
Here's to hoping.

Hope D2's sales are better than Titanfall 2
