No, I disagree. It is a progression from Destiny. There is nothing that supports the game as a prequel. Even using the terrible beta as a argument, they explained it wasn't a demo, it was purely a technical focus (would have been nice to know ahead of time, as well as it was several builds behind). I am not as hyped as I was for Destiny, but I feel it is because I know what Destiny is now, and not what they tried to preview ahead of time. With that said, I am still looking forward to playing this game. I'll be playing day 1.
