You know, I have seen much in the few months of the questionable next installment of Destiny. I believe the game will work out in the bitter end, whether it be too late or just in time. I will not give my analysis of the beta, because the community already did it for me. In short, the beta left much to be desired. The people, the great community testers, are more more talented at hating then critiquing. The funny thing is it is expected. It would be wrong if it were not here, but it is not right that it is here. I watch, as a fool, a mute, a slave to obedience. Why? Somebody has to do it. For a right person cannot exist without a wrong one, or can they? Hmph, and surely a wrong person cannot be without a right person to create them, or perhaps...? Yes indeed, that word, one of abundance, but quite weak amongst those who oppose inquisition. Opinion... An opinion indeed has value no matter the topic. The real question here is: how far will people go to take that away. Your opinion is like a candle, a small flame, weak, almost useless as heat, and barely useful as light. Yet it's scent attracts them, it's light signals them. Closer they draw towards it. Small and feeble the flame may be, but equally does it burn when they carelessly touch it. Do they blow out the candle? Do they snuff out the flame with their fingers? Perhaps they pick up the candle and slam it on the ground, covered in hot wax. Do they repent? Surely you know what I speak of. We want the perfect dream, our desires. I want Destiny to be great and you fight for it too. However I will watch and you will fight. What separates me from you is I will always be satisfied with the game and you may not. An arrogant one may believe the world was created for him/her. A fool may believe he/she created the world. The hierophant may just want to know where it began, so it may begin again. Maybe someone wants to see it fall, a great structure, failing human enterprise. Whatever it may be, someone else's views are not yours to make. In the event you contest what is wound, how do you approach the candle? I am right. OR You are wrong. How do you put out the candle? Your logic is terrible. OR You're terrible at logic. When you attack someone personally, do you ever feel sorry? Do you know what you are doing at times? Of course not, one would never engage such contrivances if you knew better and had not done it. Nope you just hold up a broken mirror to yourself, saying, "I am right, I am great" until you believe it. Here I look around to see broken glass and peppered soot that contain no mass on my boot. For once was a room lit, now not even a bit. I wonder what happened to this community, drawn to such calamity. Ah but it was clear, certainly not reality, it was merely Destiny. -x614hamstercatx
