no one cares how we got our first icebreaker, unlike the Gjallarhorn. Getting a GHorn was a good experience. Getting a GHorn is memorable and cool, icebreaker is just a random exotic

Although it wasn't as big of a deal as gally, icebreaker was definitely not just a random exotic. Random exotic is something like patience and time, to which I have zero memory of getting. Icebreaker became a staple to quite a few guardians out there which makes it not something that would collect dust.
