The problem is if you make it more difficult for 6 man patrol teams (which it should be if we allow 6 man patrol) 3 man or solo patrol would be too difficult. If they implemented something like division had where when you are in certain areas you could leave fireteam and stay in to invite more friends that would be cool.

Well don't see why they can't have a modifier to up difficulty the more people you have in a fire team

That would be awesome except with it being an open space for everyone if you have lower level people in the same space as you it messes them up because of you being there. Now a system which there is a separate patrol Playlist for 6 man fireteams that would be cool

Should have been more clear, basically what I have in mind is firstly you chose a version of patrol in orbit based on your fireteam size as well as having different instances of varying difficulty that they game will connect you to as players leave or join you.
