Patrol teams should be larger for sure, up to 6 players would be great. I think it's incredibly weird how split up they've made activities, strikes/patrol are 3 players, pvp is 4, raids are 6... You'll never be able to play with all your friends at once unless you're raiding, which is a 1-3 times a week (if you raid on all 3 toons).
The other thing that annoys me is that, if we can't have larger fireteams in patrol, don't kick us to orbit when we leave a fireteam. It seems stupid to allow a large amount of players in patrol, but not let them party up, and if you can't party up, you'd be hard pressed to get yourself in the same instance.
They make things like Court of Oryx and Archons Forge to promote team play and large groups to play together, but I can't party together with these people?? Bungie, you said you're not "hiding the fun" this time around and making it easier, well this is a quality of life thing that's makes it that much more fun. Games are about fun, not arbitrary barriers.

Weird isnt it? I dont understand a lot of these decisions. It almost seems like they dont think about these things enough to implement it to its full potential...

Ya I've always felt that way in Destiny 1 too, not sure if it's something to do with limitations with their engine or what, but some things just seem like obvious omissions or oversights. In some cases it seems like they're putting balance far above things that could make the game much more enjoyable to play.

Well said. As a community we find ways around the barriers - lfg sites/apps for example. Might have to do the same - message/chat with others in the area to accept people into their fireteam. Seems we as a community find ways to improve Destiny, just takes a while for devs to catch up.
