Destiny 1. We built our guardian up. Through the experiences we had, the holidays we celebrated, and the events we went through, we gathered emblems to show "we were there, and we did that" And then destiny 2. it's gone? Yes, it's a new game. But come on, it's the same guardian for many of us, with the same legacy and same impact. Sure some people will start anew (and PC has to) but for those of us who are taking our guardians that we have stuck by from year 1, at least let us allow us to bring our emblems and emotes over. They are cosmetic items. Nothing to give us an unfair advantage, and it will show our loyalty to the game too. heck, some of the emblems were purchased for special events, like halloween or bungie's anniversary. And several emotes show our legacy too, like the ones for preordering ttk special edition. We should be allowed to carry them into destiny 2 if we have an account for destiny 1 on the psn/xbl. At first the comments were "oh maybe the emblem system is different, maybe they're animated now, maybe they're customizable, maybe they don't even exist." and ditto for emotes. Which is why I waited for the beta to see if maybe there were indeed changes that wouldn't allow for the old system to remain. But after playing the beta I've seen it's the same system now. So let me carry them over.
