I'm level 40 and about 50 hours of game time and I love every minute. This is my game of the year for sure. I like games like this and Tomb Raider where you can kind of go off and gather resources and hunt. Far Cry Primal was another I liked similarly to this. The hunting challenges are a lot of fun and I like delving in the ruins. I wish this was on my Xbox so I could share clips with my friends.

Since this Horizon is the only game released this year that I have bought and am playing, its my GoTY so far too. I've replayed and gotten to play for the first time nine games this year, with hopefully more to go even with my college schedule in the fall. I'm level 30 after a little over 30 hours of gametime.

It took me a while to realize there were tutorial missions with weapons for easy XP. Once I did those it helped out a lot. The game itself plays quite nicely with the exception of Aloy accidentally melee attacking when I'm trying to panic shoot an arrow up close. The Corruption arrows are a lot of fun to use also.
