As someone who genuinely wants to die, this response, would want me to do it more. It's basically saying... even though you're right in front of me, about to kill yourself, go talk to someone else who cares. It's a copy paste. Like, no matter why you want to do it, this is the answer, because everyone who has felt this before is the same as you. When someone says it to me... my first comment is Why? They always want to tell you, because they're hoping it will get better. It never hurts to actually say, hi,and genuinely converse with the person, so they understand, humanity is not lost. If you give me that copy paste crap, I'm thinking, this guy doesn't even care enough to say hi, he wants me to call a generic number, where people say hi to everyone.
